Last week I went to a photo exhibition, that was held in one of the coolest exhibition rooms I know. Why cool? Because it's unusual.
This place used to be an underground garage, now it is an underground conference room and exhibition room as well. It's really out of the box place in my eyes and maybe that's why I like it so much.
There were more than 60 photographs exhibited this time, all of the participants at a photo exhibition and the good thing was, the winners were marked with a label.
Now, have you ever participated in a photo exhibition, with your own photo? I haven't and the chances to do it are slim to none, but even so, it makes me wonder what kind of photos would I select to submit. There were several categories as usual, so there are plenty you can choose from. Unfortunately my biggest enemy was present as well, making my life a living hell, so I did what I could under the circumstances. I will never understand why use glass for photos and why use glossy paper instead of matte. But then again, what do I know, right? I've always hated glossy paper for several reasons. Anyway, let's see what the jury has decided this time.
Kingdom of Ice
This photo was awarded with 1st place in the landscape photography category. It didn't say where was taken, but it is a good one for sure. I've never seen ice blocks floating on water in my life, so this is definitely something I'd like to experience once day and document it as well, take a bunch of photos, if possible.
Colors Of Iceland
A lifetime ago, before I registered on the legacy chain, there was another platform that I was part of and there was a guy from Iceland, he was posting similar photos and those were so cool. Iceland is on my list as well (yes, I know, my list is quite long), but till then, all I can do is admire these cool photos.
Foggy
This was one of the photos I loved it. There were quite many I loved, you can imagine, at this level, all the photos are great, but it depends on your preferences. I loved the snowy landscape and the fog. I think it's pretty rare as the two don't go together, but most likely there are exceptions. So I suppose capturing such a scene is a privilege.
The Bright Side
This was another exceptional photo in my eyes and got second place at the landscape photography category. The title is fantastic too. The Bright Side. We always say, look at the bright side, but look at that bright lane. What are the chances to catch such a scene? It's rare in my opinion. I love it! I suppose things are going to take a different turn in the near future. With the help of technology, more will be possible. We have drones to use today, so exploring a bigger area from above is not impossible anymore.
Winds
Brawl
Imagine this beauty hidden by the forest. You can only see its beauty from an aerial photo. Now with a drone, it's possible.
Autumn In Moon Valley
Quercus Pubescens
Looks like a simple photo, but for me it has a deep meaning. Scenes like this are rare, trust me. What you see on the photo is a very old chapel accompanied by a very old trees. Like old buddies. For the villagers, both are precious. Choosing monochrome was a smart decision.
Alcedo Atthis 1
Look at that bird, nose diving. This photo got 3rd place in the Wide Life category. It's not every day you can capture such a photo.
Alcedo Atthis 2
If you thought the previous photo was great, look at this. Same photographer, similar bird, in a different position. Imagine the wait, till you catch such a scene. Amazing!
Alcedo Atthis 3
Here's the 3rd one, just as amazing as the previous one, but unfortunately this was the only angle for me, to avoid reflections. I'm not really a bird photographer, but have a huge admiration for them. Hats off.
The Fisher King
Cute little birdie and some lovely colors as well, not to mention the lichen on the branch.
Fortius
The fight is real :) This photo got 1st place in the Wildlife category and I fully agree with the decision. It's a fantastic photo, a moment excellently captured.
Nature photography is nice, but it's not as easy as it seems. Wildlife photography is even harder. Lots of hours go into waiting and trying to capture some usable photos. I love watching them, but I don't think I have the necessary patience to be good at it.
I hope you have some favorites. You must have as these photos are top qualities. Not mine though, I mean the photos I photographed :) @dimascastillo90, I hope you like these 😃

The kingdom of Ice and the kingfisher shot where it is catching fish are just wow...I think the kingdom of Ice was taken in Iceland, only such a shot can be found there...
You might be right as it's the same photographer, it would make sense. Great choice Priyan.
Yes because I think the photo is taken on/from Diamond beach in Iceland...
I really liked this photo. if you crop the top third it looks like very cloudy mountains.
You're right about that, it could easily be.
Wow!! They are all exceptional. But for me the best is Alcedo Atthis 2. Hugs
That seems to be the most liked, for the obvious reason! Hugs to you too.
I think my best photo is that of the Brawl.
Like how could such a place even exist? Is it man-made or is it from nature? I'm curious to know.
All the photos here are worthy of awards and recognition.
Thanks for sharing.
I have no idea, I don't know where that place is, but it's interesting for sure.
Yeah!
It's beautiful.
I am not a bird or nature photographer but these photographs are exciting. It's hard for me to choose between so much art and beautiful photos. But... I must say, my dear and beautiful friend, that the photo has captivated me is "Alcedo Atthis 2". WHAT A WAY TO CAPTURE THIS BIRD! 😍 I can imagine all the time and patience needed to take this photo and the others since they are from the same photographer. AMAZING!
I want to highlight the effort you make to be able to take photos of these works in relation to light reflections.
On the other hand you know what? I love the way you express and appreciate these photos ❤️🥰
I really liked this exhibition, I hope to see many more. I send you a hug and two kisses this time and my model sends you two hugs and three kisses 😂🤗😘😘

"Alcedo Atthis 2" seems to be the winner today for the obvious reasons. I was standing in front of the photo, looking at it for quite a few minutes and thinking how much time you need to capture such a beauty. I mean I bet it's not an 1 minute job as you need time to capture it. I would not have the patience for sure.
I was literally pulling my hair, trying every angle, hiding behind my phone, but still, my beanie is still visible and on some photos my hand too 😆. It's frustratingly difficult to take photos in such conditions, but it worth it as the original are amazing. Stay tuned as there are more photos, I hope to post them soon.
Thank you for the nice comment and for the huge amount of hugs and kisses from you and your model, it really made me smile 😂. You're both adorable and too kind, so I'm returning the favor and sending you both lots of 😘🤗😍❤️
Hello, how interesting where that photography exhibition takes place.
Thank you for sharing with us and learning about these types of activities. I greet you from Aragua Venezuela.
A strong hug in the distance.
I'm glad you like the place. I love it and am happy whenever a new exhibition is announced.
Greetings and have a nice day.
Cool exhibition, for me the last one is my favourite. Thank you for sharing
Yeah, that got first place and for a good reason.
Another photo exhibition tour from you. :)
Foggy surely is my first favorite also, because the small hut/houses look like they are in the fairytale land. a little bit mystical.
That's a good one and also real. I think I could find a place like that with the help of some locals in the mountain area. That's a good photo.
you always show something extraordinary. This is a motivation for photography lovers. If I could choose, I like the photo of a bird catching a fish. That doesn't mean the other photos aren't good, all the photos are perfect.
I'm trying my best to post something interesting and these photos are definitely worth posting. It would be nice to get to that level one day.
I like the “Foggy” and the “Winds”😊 Thank you sharing us🙏🏻
Both are wonderful.
😂🤣😂 I was thinking you seriously were dealing with someone that was your nemesis. I couldn't believe @erikah would have any enemies 🙂
My favorite is Quercus Pubescens (looked that up its the latin name for what we call a downy oak in the States). I also love those king fisher shots.
This thing is my nemesis 😁 It's driving me crazy and have to work magic to be able to avoid it, but I hardly ever can 😤
Good picks Steven I love those too.
Wow! This paintings are spectacular! My favourite one is the Autumn In Moon Valley, and the three Alcedo Atthis and the fisher king. The look so adorable.
Those are cool but these are photographs.

This is so beautiful!! I really love the paintings, specially those with bird. I like how perfectly drawn they are!
That's really great but these are photographs, not paintings :)
All these paintings are done by Artis who spend a lot of time and hard work and then they become so beautiful and they are placed in such places.
These are photographs @djbravo, not paintings.
Thanks for the corrections.
What spectacular photographs. I love the content you always share with us!
Greetings and hugs to you, @erikah 🥰
Absolutely fabulous photos, some of them look like paintings. I'm a lousy photographer myself. Being able to see is my blessing. You really can find the special!!!
