A little more than 2 weeks ago I posted about some wall decors that I saw at an exhibition. You can check it out here. I'm talking about the two artworks at the bottom of that post. I loved them the minute I saw them and was thinking of buying one. I didn't after all but was still thinking about them.
This week, when I checked the gallery, saw that the same artist has a whole exhibition. This was like heaven to me as I've been wondering what other artwork the artist has available, but was traveling in the meantime and had no time to investigate. So today I made time to swing by and have a good look at the artworks displayed at the gallery.
The artist is Annamária Bács and these were the two artworks that I saw previously. There were there again, looks like no one has bought them.
When I stepped into the gallery, had a quick look around and knew exactly what I would pick, but I wanted to take each piece individually and have a great look at all of them.
This was the first one on the wall. You can already create an idea about what you're going to see. This as a bit different from the other two above, but it was still a lovely one, with natural colors and the piece of wood each artwork had. Looking at the patters used, I think it requires some design work, before you start.
This was the one that caught my eye the minute I stepped into the gallery. It's a unique composition I haven't seen before. It's an autumn scene, created using branches, yarn, possibly some wood and who knows what hidden materials :) The leaves looked interesting and wanted to see if there are real leaves as we all know those real ones don't last, as soon as they dry, are fragile and break. Truth to be told, the leaves looked very real, I even used my phone to enlarge the photo, to see if they are real. They are not, but don't ask me what they were made of as could not figure it out.
Long story short, it's a gorgeous piece, no matter how you look at it. I was told it's already reserved, someone wanted to buy it, but the frame was broken. It's going to get fixed and sold. The artworks had no price, but I got the card of the artist and can call to find out the prices. To give you an idea, this one is 500 RON, which is around 100€.
Although these are not my colors, I liked this one too. It was a nice one.
This was a special one for reasons not many would understand. Shamelessly tagging @mipiano 😂 here. We had a chat not long ago about an element this artwork contains. Let's see if she can figure out what I'm referring to, or she's going to spend 30 minutes looking at it. I'm throwing her under the buss 🤣. (She's going to mute me after this 😜.)
Ok, so jokes aside, this is an artwork that has specific Hungarian folk elements, like the tulip for example.
Seems to be an owl and has glasses too.
This one was a bit different, but still a nice pattern.
This was where the fun began. This is a village life scene created out of branches and yarn. The light was not the best, but I hope you can see what a fantastic work it is.
This one left me with my mouth open to be honest. It seems like a painting, but it's made of yarn. Seems to be a Hungarian dancer, from Hungary as in Transylvania we don't have these traditional shirts. I tried to figure out how it was made, but don't know the technique.
Here's a cropped image, I hope you can see it better. The background seems to be felt, but I'm not sure about that. Blue is not my favorite color when it comes to wall decors or decors in general, but I like this.
Same technique, different design, just as lovely as the previous one.
Another owl, a blue one this time. Who likes owls?
This was another fantastic piece.
Look at this scene. It's a walk in the forest, with trees, people, the sun and grass.
An African lady I think.
I suppose this is a pelican.
Another owl. This was in the window and could not get a better angle.
So this is it for today. Please let me know in a comment if you've seen similar artworks and/or if you have favorite. I'm really curious as I loved these.

All the wall decor you've shown is extraordinary. The details are complicated and require skillful hands to do it. The blue owl caught my attention.
As far as I could see, there were different techniques used here, so you need to master a few to put together such artworks. Lol, people love owls.
Super nice this, really. The owls are recurring. 🤣 And honestly we need to to have Hungarian sapience to understand those exchanges that you and mipiano have had. 😂
Thank you @nanixxx, I'm glad you liked these beauties.
As about the chat between me and mipiano, Hungarian is not enough 🤣

These are so beautiful.
It is such a nice exhibition. Sometimes, i imagine where the creativity and aesthetic of the artist that design comes from. It takes time to knit few cotton, I'm saying this from experience. I guess it is there profession so it might not be difficult after all. Glad, you are thinking of getting one. They are all beautiful.
It was indeed a nice exhibition, I liked these artworks a lot. But naking these is not easy.
What dope art.. never quite seen anything like it. Actually pretty cool. I could quite see myself having such artwork decorating a personal space. Thanks my friend for sharing something so cool.
Well, there are similar works on the internet, but not like these. This is indeed art at the highest level in this category in my opinion. Maybe one day I'll buy one, but right now I have other priorities. And you're welcome, the pleasure is all mine.

These are all beautiful and you could tell they were hand knitted.
That thread technique is amazing how sad that this type of art here in my country is a little unusual to have the joy of being part of such a nice situation but certainly some of these works of art on my white walls would be like a beautiful kiss to life. Greetings
Awesome art! Love it😍
Son piezas artesanales y muy artisticas me encanta, seguro podriamos decorar la paredes del hogar y hacerlas muy elegantes.
