In my head pumpkins are divided into 2 types: those that are grown for the seeds (and throw away the rest) and those that are grown to eat. I was always wondering about which one is used for decorations.
Definitely the first one. If you throw away the pumpkin because you only need the seeds, then why not use it to decorate. On the other hand, I'm always thinking of the shape of it, as that counts the most.
Maybe next year we can have a pumpkin decorating challenge, here, on Hive 😀
