Nice shots! I've setup my tripod and used the remote for my Nikon, set to auto, to get shots of them without the worry of scaring them. The only problem was they would perch on the camera between sessions drinking and I got a few tiny spots of bird poo that I had to clean off. High shutter speed and burst mode managed some good shots.

I am gonna have to try that some time. I can control my camera with my phone, so focusing wont be too difficult. Keeping them in frame is gonna be the hard part if I cant turn my camera.
