Beautiful Laelia Orchids - Laelia Lueddemanii [EN] // Hermosas Orquídeas Laelia - Laelia Lueddemanii [ES]

Orchids were my Grandma Pancha's favorite flowers, wherever she went and saw them it was as if something hypnotized her and she wanted to stay appreciating them all day, in her garden I remember that there were some species planted, of which today only one of them survives, by this date they should be about to bloom, the rest were not seen anymore, because even her plants disappeared, perhaps the fact that she was no longer there to take care of them made them die. This morning we went to visit Luisinio my father's friend to see how his progress was, we went to a neighboring house to ask them to prepare Luisinio's meals, because in his condition it is impossible for him to prepare them and at the entrance I found this strange beauty.

I really saw them from afar and did not call my attention as they are a bouquet of small scattered flowers that from afar become almost imperceptible, however, as I was approaching the entrance of a small house with mud walls, I could detail them better and realize that I was in front of a tiny but really beautiful and subtle orchid, the truth is that they look like plastic flowers.

I immediately asked permission to the owner of the house to try to take some pictures as the breeze was strong and did not allow me to take many clear pictures, in fact only these that I show you were the best.

In the distance I heard the voice of one of the nurses telling me to pluck the flower because they were not seeing me, I turned and told her no, I just wanted to photograph them, this way I would observe their beauty for longer, when I plucked it I am sure that to my house they would not arrive with that beauty and life that they possess in their plant.

Although a bit difficult because of the smallness of the flower and its minute details, I find that editing in black and white with selective coloring certainly brings out its beauty.

This beautiful orchid is known as Laelia Lueddemanii Native to America and although on the internet they say it is common, for me it was the first time I observed it and the truth is that I fell in love. I remember that Abuelita Ana planted orchids in a small greenhouse she had behind her kitchen, and thanks to her I knew a great variety of them, but this one in particular I had not been able to see before and it is really beautiful.

The plant is really beautiful. The full picture makes it look like a spider.

I remember reading something about loving and liking something, for instance a flower.

If you like a flower, you should pluck it and just appreciate for a brief moment without considering what condition the flower would be after.

But if you love the flower, you nurture it and appreciate it the way it is considering the condition the flower would be after plucking it.

Indirectly, I will say you loved the flower.

I love flowers and I can't deny that a bouquet of flowers in the center of my table looks really beautiful, but to see them in their plant is another thing, to leave them there and give a beautiful view to everyone who passes by, that's really something else, besides flowers in a vase wilt quickly. And I thought the same as you in an instant, these flowers look like spiders, they are quite rare but certainly beautiful!

Sure they are beautiful. Can't argue about that.

Wow what's a beautiful octobus!

I have never seen such a flower. It's totally amazing!

I love orchids but I don't have luck with them....by now. These days for the first time one orchid in my house has buds. Beautiful flower!
