I disappeared a lot of people today. A whole family with their young child, a nice middle-aged lady and a few old folks. It was a difficult decision but it felt so nice. Clearing the scene from their annoying presence and establishing harmony once again!
I am referring, of course, to the editing process of my pictures and adobe's remove tool. I am not a mafia hit man neither a secret service agent :)
I haven't and I wouldn't disappear anyone in real life but as I was sitting in front of my screen, an unconventional thought came to my mind.
What if I did have, at my fingertips, the supernatural power to make people disappear, would I ever use it?

I started exploring this thought in a humorous way. I wasn't thinking of war criminals or extreme atrocities that may justify such a treatment. On the contrary I was thinking of silly daily things that annoy us. A grumpy neighbour, a rude client, a driver that didn't stop on a crosswalk etc, etc. Something like the video clip I am linking below.
But the question remains. And what if we go a little further and assume that everybody had this extraordinary power. Would good sense and empathy prevail or earth would be depopulated in a matter of days?
What do you think?
I see so many people angry and even outraged on the streets every day, that it makes me wonder. And what about yourself?
Would you use it?

I took those pictures on February 4th 2024 at the archeological site of Mikines. I have written three posts with pictures from that visit but there are still a lot more to be edited. I am linking below the previous posts in case that someone feels like doing some extra reading :)
It wasn't meant to be with info about the archeological site.
Like a little princess with monochrome edits.
Hard to win with pictures from the museum.

EF 16-35mm f4L, EF 24-105mm f4L and my favourite oldie from the 80s, a black EF 80-200 f2.8L
I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic .
All the pictures and the words are mine.
Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.

If ever I had that kind of power, I think I already used it. But eventually, I felt guilty and thought not to do it again. 🤦
I think that most of us are on the same page with you!
