Coming back to an old stone-built house and a farm that has been running on auto for half the spring months, means a deluge of tasks that can be really overwhelming. @traisto and myself have been back home for 3 days now that passed in a frantic pace and we are just beginning to put our affairs in order (not carry through with them, just making a list and prioritise them). So please accept my apologies for not replying to your messages, I will as soon as possible :)
Even the dog walks are limited since Marcos, our canine friend, is all day at the farm with us and that's as good as the biggest walk! We went though for a stroll around our village and I was thrilled to see that the capers are blooming! Pickled caper bulbs is a unique delicacy to taste but caper blooming is a unique subject to take pictures of and I love them both!
Of course it is only the first days of June and spring is still here. And so are many more blooming plants all around. From oregano and rockrose to random wild flowers there is plenty of beauty to enjoy and to capture with my camera.
Even the dried plants can provide material for a nice picture while the trees are in the process of producing fruits and the herbs that have completed their blooming, like the sage, are getting ready for a hot and arid summer.
And one last picture of the scenery to remind you what my place looks like!

Thank you very much @littlebee4 :)
You are welcome 👋🏻☀️😁
Welcome home! Argolis is a beautiful place but your place in Crete is just as beautiful and the vegetation, plants, and trees are at their best, I think. Gorgeous capers flower! I've only seen capers in jars and I had no idea it had such a wonderful flower. Perfect subject for your photos!
Thank you very much :)
Indeed, Argolis and Crete are both very beautiful! Actually they look quite similar.
Now the most important thing is that Crete is very beautiful!
