Happy new month to all!
Either you see the first snow of winter outside your window or taking your beachwear out of the closet for one more summer, we are all on the same globe and hive is thriving for all!
This month I am sending you my wishes with some pictures quite different from my usual ones. The weather is pretty much shitty around here for photography, with south winds bringing sand from Africa all over the place, so last evening I combined two of the things that relax me the most. Cooking and photography.
No, it's not a cooking post. I was just making a few pictures as I was cooking and the ingredients were just the excuse. The goal was to make some abstract images with ambiguous shapes to trigger the imagination and possibly please the eye of the viewer. It's up to you to tell me if I succeeded!
If you want to know what I have photographed I can answer in the comments. For now I don't want to spoil it for those who want to try to find out by themselves so I will only tell you that it is all edible.
Happy December!
Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.
Commenting, upvoting and rebloging are highly appreciated!
These are some awesome macro shots! You should do a before (macro) and after next time. You got me curious what you had to eat now! hahaha These shots definitely get the imagination going trying to figure what the imagery is! Great job brother. Happy Winter! hahaha
You are right. I started taking backstage pictures with my phone but then I got hungry and rushed to finish the shooting and proceed to my dinner :)
Happy winter!
hahaha That's funny/not funny! You can't leave the food out too long after you get it ready. It would be easy to get distracted shooting. Thanks for being awesome Stef! Take care bro. =)
I think I saw onion, chopped! Some spices? Some frozen veggies??
You got the onions right (pictures 2,3,4,7,8). As for the rest, the first one are almonds, the fifth one is millet, the sixth is oregano and the last one is tomato paste :)
Ahaaa, I was thinking tomato paste for the last shot, then thought chili paste, then stopped guessing... lol. Very cool shots indeed
Yes, I would like to know please. I think I recognize a couple of the pictures, but didn't want to say in the comments just in case you didn't want that here. I would like to know. :}
Hi @liftslikealady, thank you for stopping by!
I am sure you have recognized some onions (pictures 2,3,4,7,8) and probably the almonds at the first one. The last one is tomato paste, the sixth is oregano and the fifth one is millet :)
Nice photos. Happy december too! 😄
Thank you very much @pipoune :)
Thank you very much for your support!
