During my morning walk, I took my camera with the intention of photographing a few wild flowers. It's something that I used to do often, during the last decade that I was living in the countryside but now I am in a town.
Would it be as easy as it used to be?
The possibility of a flop was just around the corner :)
The first post of 2023 was made with the same intension but back then I was walking in my olive grove, in a land pure and abundant in wild flora. Now I had to look on the side of the roads, on small pieces of land that escaped the concrete cover of the town and to the neighbourhood's park.
A less promising environment for sure!
It turned out that flowers can be found everywhere as long as you look closely enough! And my 100mm macro lens made sure that I was as close as possible :)
I didn't find the wild flora that I had in mind but I did find a lot of flowers, buds and colourful stems that made my day and gave me plenty excuses for photography :)
I hope you enjoyed my little photo journey on the sidewalks of my town. This is my welcome to the new year and to the hopes that it will be better than the last one.
