I feel attracted in neighbourhoods like that myself. Although the poverty is evident and people there obviously face many problems in their daily life, I like how real and full of life those parts of the cities look, in contradiction to the soulless expensive parts.

Agree. A truly gem for the photographer. There is a continuation of this area, another neighborhood - 1 km of railroad altogether + an old central station area (not sure it's quite open to random visitors though...). Going to come back there many times.
