Easter is just around the corner and our small workshop couldn't remain unaffected by the festive atmosphere and the celebration preparations. There are many traditions connected to those days but I would like to focus on easter candles. As you may know @traisto is making wonderful candles from pure, locally sourced beeswax, all year round. These days though, she prepared some decorated ones, especially for the Holy Saturday.
And of course, a few pictures were in order!

Since everything is natural and pure in our workshop, so were the materials used for the decoration of the candles. Flowers, yarns and imagination. That's all we need. Anyway we want the attention to go to the candle itself and not the decoration.

I am not very good at crafting small beautiful things but since I am doing ok with a camera in my hand, I helped with my way. Capturing the moment and making it pictures :)
Instagram account. If you like you can follow the link and give her a little encouragement over there too. Most of those photographs has been shared by @traisto in her

My personal favourites are the one above, dyed with madder root and carved by hand and the double flame below. Both of them so simple, yet so elegant! I am quoting a few words written by @traisto about them:
A natural candle made with care, that you can use as an Easter candle and then keep it and let it bring light into your everyday life.
A natural beeswax candle that will burn for over 12 hours. Pure beeswax, naturally dyed with madder root, sculptured by hand with the intention of bringing joy and warmth into your life.

Double flame.
The moment you light it, you know it's something special. Just pure beeswax and nothing more.
Hand dipped and twisted by hand in our workshop.
And one last picture with some of the finished ones, displayed on the shop! I hope you enjoyed this small photo tour.
Happy Easter to those that celebrate it, have a lovely weekend to the rest :)
All the pictures and the words are mine.
Thank you for reading and if you want to know more about me you can check out my introduction post.

I knew that traisto was a genius in these crafting things, these candles are awesome! The double flame ones are so interesting, but I also love the candles with the flower decorations! <3 I don't have an Instagram account so I am sending my wishes and encouragements to @traisto from here 🤗
Thank you very much from both of us @mipiano :)
Wishes and encouragements received 😍😁
Thank you so much for the super sweet comment, dear @mipiano ❤️ Love!
This is a beauty of handmade work! ✨
Congratulations to traisto and to you for capturing what she does with these great shots 👏🏻🔥.
Thank you very much from both of us :)
The things I like the most, small flowers and candles.
Nice!
Thank you for stopping by @despiertaelalma :)
Wowwww, it's just wonderful, bravoooo
Thank you very much @goga22 :)
The beauty can be appreciated in the small details, I hope in the realization of the candle and that everything is natural. Good job, happy easter to you too.
Thank you very much @ramisey :)
Wow! This is flamboyant and colourful. I like the way you take us through the process using picture illustrations. Easter is here again. It is time to reflect on the death and resuration of the Christ.
I am glad you like it @toluwanispecial :)
Happy Easter!
