One of my difficulties for where I live is finding what to take pictures of. I live in a very small rural town of 300 people...If that.
Even though we are surrounded by nature, it can be difficult to not take pictures of the same thing multiple times. There are many trails, yes, but how many pictures can I get away with sharing before someone starts thinking if they seen that same poplar tree or pine tree?
We do have a mountain that can give great views, trails that are most beautiful in the winter on a snowy day.
However what we lack of are things that need to happen to make this place even more interesting. Festivals, parties, anything.
We seem to carry more run down buildings that are long forgotten, houses that are in need of major repairs, and old artsy fartsy people that get cranky and love to spread rumours over tea.
Alas, the only way to get creative when looking taking pictures is to travel, start a new hobby that can produce action shots and hope to see a moose or bear when hiking the trails.
I still have so much to learn about what my camera can do and how to be creative with that which brings me to question people for tips and how to's and research on the internet. But I don't want to do what most people do and reproduce the same things. I have a style that I look forward to capture yet I don't know how and I require a subject/model to practice on.
So for now, enjoy these nature shots! Let me know what you think and, of course, if you have any creative tips, I'm all eyes!
All images are taken with my Canon Rebel sl3 and my android phone.
Sustainability is our greatest hope.♻🤲
yes it is
This photo gives me a certain feeling of tranquility, I love the mountains and forests, especially the rocks of the mountains, they are so old that you can almost see everything they have lived through.
Thanks! I'm happy that you get this feeling ^_^ It is very encouraging to get this kind of comment to a photo I have taken. For this I am grateful :)
I agree with you, wishing I knew more about rocks as to understand the journey they've been through to get to where it is now. Beauty in nature!
nice
Dear @foxyspirit, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,

Your support would be really appreciated.
Thank you!
