My memorable coffee date ☕

I went on a date this weekend and I particularly chose a coffee date because of how I have been craving for coffee and the whipped cream on top of it and also the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans blowing through the air, the awesome buzz of conversation that would come afterwards and also the atmosphere of meeting someone new.

I had to choose this specific coffee date because it was closer to my house and also I don't want to be far away from house late in the evening and I saw that the coffee have become a popular choice for people to visit, considering the relaxation it offers and the friendly atmosphere it creates when meeting someone for the first time or going out with someone for the first time. and casual setting for getting to know

So I told my to be boyfriend that we should go on Saturday because people will be much and it won't be like people are staring at us because people are much and Saturday arrived and as I stepped into the cozy cafe, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement, friendly atmosphere and nervousness but I had to pull through because I was the one that chose the location.

Immediately I sat down with my friend I came with, he started appreciating the vintage decorations, dialysed by soft, warm lights and we were so lucky that we sat at a comfortable spot near the window, allowing the sunlight to gently bathe the table as I ordered my coffee and all I can hope for at that moment was the best for me.

Minutes later, we started conversing into our coffee choices and I went for the richly velvet but not cappuccino and topped with whipped cream while my date chose a creamy coffee with some fruits diced on top and that was the first time I discovered there was coffee like that. As we took our first sips, the conversation followed effortlessly and we picked up from our last conversations we had online.

As seconds turns minutes and minutes turned into hours, we shared our interests, likes and hates, we exchange but good and sad stories. We laughed wholeheartedly, occasionally and we were interrupted at some point when I mistakingly poured my coffee away but luckily it was plastic cups. Time became irrelevant at that point as we lost ourselves in some beautiful conversation and our bond growing stronger with every passing moments and at some point some couples joined us at our table and we learnt from their mistakes and they gave us some ideas.

I made sure I pay attention to some small details because of this popular quotes " the way you do anything, that's the way you do everything" and those little details made me consider that the date was an awesome one. The way my date's eyes lit up when discussing about their passions, hobbies, the storyline, the gentle touch of my hand with his and the genuine interest he showed in my stories. We shared our dreams, and aspirations, he told me about his vulnerability but I didn't tell him everything about me because I have been disappointed before due to that reason.

As seconds wade off and turned to minutes and as minutes run off and turns to hours, I gradually realized that our coffee date had come to an end and I wished we have another one soon.

We exchanged greetings once again filled with gratitude for the awesome and gracious experience we had shared. It was exciting, beautiful, lovely, special, awesome, happy and what I realized at the end was that it was also disheartening to go our separate ways after we've shared a lot that very day and the most painful is that I'm not certain of what the future holds for the two of us.

We left the cafe and he promised we are going to meet again and hopefully it will be better than this but this time around, he will be the one that will decide what will happen the next date and I told him thank you for allowing me to decide the first date because it was a rare and amazing gesture.

Coffee dates are underated but we forget to realize that it have a unique ability to create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere which allows two individuals to connect on a deeper level. My recent coffee date which happened this weekend was an unforgettable experience, filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and a blossoming connection.

As I walked away from the cafe, I couldn't believe I experienced what had happened.

You guys really need to experience such date.
