I love contests and photography (although I don't consider myself a good photographer) I was encouraged to participate in this one for me a challenge.
When I read the competition proposal, the first thing I did was to educate myself on what a macro photo consisted of.
According to what I read, and what I managed to understand, it is a photo in detail, which captures what the naked eye cannot easily appreciate.
Thinking about what to photograph, while I was looking at my plants, I found a small guest in them. So I grabbed my phone, and set out to capture this little insect (a kind of ladybird).
I took several shots, as this little guy was very mischievous and moved quite fast. However, I managed to capture its eyes and antennae, which are not really visible to the naked eye.
I liked this photographic exercise very much, and I have tried to capture other images.
