Yeah, I just looked at who he follows and who follows him, the investigations ensue. You're right though, there's probably multiple accounts.
It's a shame though, that people like this cause existing, longer-term, users to call into question other similar people and accounts that pop up which ultimately reduces their visibility and possibility for rewards from larger and established accounts. Possibly one of the reasons none of them really get too far here.
He is also doing a disservice to the Nigerian population we have on hive as well. People like him make it hard for anyone to trust new people. Especially when established people in that community don’t condemn these types of actions.
Yes, exactly. It makes it difficult for people to trust any of them which is unfair to the ones that are doing the right thing. Still, once trust is broken it's difficult to mend. It takes so much effort to build a good reputation and hardly any at all to destroy it. It must be difficult for those following behaviours and reactions like this fine gentleman is displaying - They start at below neutral and have a lot of ground to make up to get anywhere which, I'm not sure is even possible.
If I was this fellow's compatriot's I'd be loudly denouncing him and creating as much distance as possible...But they don't do that, they remain silent. That says a lot.
