My love for Musoorie is such. Just like the rain.
I have a lot of memories in this small mountain city with a lot of different people, yet none of those memories can stop me from falling in love with this place all over again everytime I am here.
The cities make you to stay, but the mountains make you be.
So this time I didn't just click pictures, but I tried to pause some moments while I was just being there in love with the people, the place, the memories.
I am someone who is forever writing a story in his head but this time, this place left me speechless.
Suddenly I was being hit with feelings, I thought I had forgotten
Nostalgia is like that one pinch that hurts more than that actual moment that you are missing, and the memory is so real that I was seeing it, hearing it, feeling it all over again..
Was I feeling sad by my own happy memories??
Yes that's Nostalgia. I told my stupid self.
And suddenly my memories felt more alive than me.
But the thing is that even if I go back in that moment, I wouldn't belong there anymore.
The journey ahead felt so unknown but the place whispered me to remember all the ways that I have grown.
Maybe its okay to miss them in days like this and cry. So it gets better some day.
And maybe one day I will be able tell somebody what I had to figure out on my own, and be someone elses survival guide, until then, let me and the mountains keep it a secret.
Once my chain of thoughts was broken I realised how quiet the outside world has been.
The glow on my face after the tears was just like Musoorie after after a rain .
May we meet again when I am ready.
