Exploring Colombia

It was ten years ago, when my neighbor told me, that she was going to visit her family in Colombia and attend some ceremonies for the end of the Mayan Calendar. She asked me, if I like to come and everything in me cried: "Yes". I was lucky, that I did not plan any return flights, as I wanted to travel the whole of South America. But already Colombia was so full of life and impressions, that I stayed almost the whole winter and fell in love. Not only with the green mountains, the jungle, the beaches, the fruits but also with the people – I was fascinated by their imagination and knowledge about plants, I had never seen nor tasted before. Of course I visited again, also got married in Colombia and would love to visit soon again.

As the last 2 years have been a bit difficult for travel, please enjoy a few images to enlighten your mood and dream of tasty escapes at least.

Hi @generalzevo
You're not wrong at all

When you have fallen in love with a place, then visit it to make it more in love.

If you decide to stay in it, your love will be there for the rest of your life

But if not, then you will die of longing

Of course, in the end it does not matter, where you are, when you have a good feeling inside, any place will be paradise... I also witnessed, stories of people living in paradise and not feeling it, so it was hell for them - maybe because they thought they did not deserve it. Lets be thankful for the roof we have and views we can enjoy as they help to encourage the spirits of positive prospects - what we urgently need in the world.
