Do you ever get that random shot and then look back at the footage, only to realise you accidentally captured an amazing photo? This isn't the first time this has happened to me.
In the last post, I shared about the bears that were lurking around this river, but I never talked about the river itself.

The first time I saw this photo, I genuinely thought it was a painting. The river's white sand reflects the sunlight so intensely that it creates a strong reflection, making it seem as though someone had painted it. Where the river becomes shallow, the white streaks curve around the bends, resembling delicate brushstrokes made with a fine brush. The blue colours of the river stand out against the surrounding green and brown tones.
These photos are especially meaningful to me because they were only possible with a drone. It's a simple shot, but when used correctly, a drone can create truly stunning images. I'm amazed by what water can do and the many trails it leaves behind.
Without context, the image above is stunning on its own. But knowing that all those spidery tracks are from bears makes it even more remarkable. The river, filled with salmon laying their eggs in the mud, showcases nature at its finest.
Thank you for reading!
Until next time,
