Testing new tools these days. I found this beautiful amber-colored bottle one day and thought to do something with it. Then I came across the old Lametta that was never used but wanted to be featured one day. That day was just now and I share with you what I came up with. In the end, we get to see some Camera Rotations again. Looks like fire hey!

Teste derzeit neue Tools. Eines Tages fand ich diese wunderschöne bernsteinfarbene Flasche und hatte sofort die Idee, etwas damit zu machen. Dann stieß ich auf das alte Lametta, das nie benutzt wurde, aber darauf wartete, endlich ins Rampenlicht zu kommen. Heute war es soweit, und ich teile mit euch, was daraus entstanden ist. Am Ende gibt es wieder ein paar Kamera-Rotationen zu sehen. Sieht aus wie Feuer, oder?

But how was it done, you ask?

So I took the Lametta and cut it in shorter bits. removed the label from the bottle and the bottle was translucent but sticky. All I had to do was stick the lametta to the bottle.

Also habe ich das Lametta genommen und in kürzere Stücke geschnitten. Das Etikett von der Flasche entfernt, die dadurch durchsichtig, aber klebrig wurde. Alles, was ich tun musste, war, das Lametta an die Flasche zu kleben.

Here is the Setup

At first I tested a few free-hand shapes to see what the effect will be like and then at the end I want to do the Camera Rotation.

Als erstes mal Freihandformen testen, wie sich die Effekte zeigen und dann gibt's noch ne Kamera Rotation.

I was very happy with the texture the bottle gave me here.

Die Strukturen die sich hier zeigten waren schon sehr cool.

As you can see there are no intentional shapes or patterns. I stopped the rotation randomly just to see what it would do. Later I just continued that way stopping for a moment up to 12 times in a single exposure and therefore rotation of the camera. See the next shots where I stopped the bottle a few more times.

Wie ihr sehen könnt, gibt es keine absichtlichen Formen oder Muster. Ich habe die Rotation zufällig gestoppt, nur um zu sehen, was passiert. Später habe ich einfach so weitergemacht, bis zu 12 Mal in einer einzigen Belichtung und Kamerarotation kurz angehalten. Schaut euch die nächsten Aufnahmen an, bei denen ich die Flasche noch ein paar Mal mehr gestoppt habe.

Featured Camera Rotation - Light Painting Image.

This one is a bit more complex. Those who have done a few Camera rotations will see that some of the patterns change orientation. You can get this effect when you change the orientation of the camera during the exposure. Here I rotated the camera 30° to (on the quick-release plate) the left and then to the right to get that effect.

I really do like the result of this experiment.

Here I had the camera at ISO 500 and my TTArtisam 50mm F1.4 lens at F8 and then everything open for a full 57 seconds.

Diese Aufnahme ist etwas komplexer. Diejenigen, die schon ein paar Kamera-Rotationen gemacht haben, werden sehen, dass sich einige Muster in ihrer Ausrichtung verändern. Diesen Effekt bekommt Ihr, wenn man während der Belichtung die Ausrichtung der Kamera ändert. Hier habe ich die Kamera um 30° nach links (auf der Schnellwechselplatte) und dann nach rechts gedreht.

Hier hatte ich die Kamera auf ISO 500 und meine TTArtisam 50mm F1.4 Linse auf F8 und dann alles offen für ganze 57 Sekunden.

Camera Rotation is what?

As I have shared with you in many of my posts about Camera Rotation. Yes, it is just what the name suggests. The camera is being rotated during the exposure, sometimes in steps sometimes in a continuous motion while doing so I also light up the scene.
