Hello photo lovers.
I have a small series of pictures for you from the coastal town of Bayeux in Normandy France.
It looks like the American army could run trough here any moment. I am comparing it with all those WW2 movies I have seen but this is the real deal. This is were it all happened and if you travel around here, that is all you see. They completely wrapped their identity around the invasion that happen here on D-day.
It is very cool that they are preserving history but in some places it's a little to much for me.
Some of them are really preserving history, others see it as a cash machine. There are tourist here every single day. So yeah, I don't blame them.
This is the old waterwheel in the city center.
I am looking for more pictures of this town but I cant find them. I really need to organics my pictures a bit more.
Thank you for reading my post! And if you want to see all the places I have ever been to, just click on my Travelfeed profile!

I think I found what I hope was just a mistake in spelling:
They completely raped there identity around the invasion that happen here on D-day.
Surely you meant:
To be Wrapped is to be surrounded by something.

Omg... thank you so much for this one 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I try to help
Thank you for that. I have no idea how that got in there🙈
You can still edit the post, unless it is older than a week
I already did 💪
Thank you 💪
What do you mean that it's a little too much for you? Because of the tourists?
Great shots! 😊
There are ww2 hamburgers in the menu, ww2 gambling halls, ww2 nail saloons ect. Everything is ww2.
Oh, I get it. Yeah, this I don't like either. We need to remember what happened not so long ago, but there is no need to take an advantage like that...
Interesting shots there! Am getting a tour in different parts of Europe everyday! :)
Haha, you are welcome, I will save you some travel money 😅
HEHEHE!
