The weekend around 17. April we headed for another mountain. This trip went to the mountain Skjomfjellet near a lake called Ipto. We started down in the valley and followed a construction road up 5 km, and inward the mountain. We found a nice place for the camp after 10 km on ski.
Halfway up the mountainside. Better view higer as we climbed uphills.
Here we are around 3 km inward the mountain. We came up from the valley in the background.
When the uphills was done the terrain flatten with great condition for skiing, enjoy the mountain and the sun.
You don't have to stress and hurry while hiking. Keep calm and relax from the busy world and no telephone coverage. Here we found a rock without snow for a brake and lunch.
The tent is up. We made a bench by the rock to the right in the picture, and build a wall of snow bricks to get some cover from the wind.
While we worked Nero relaxing.
After a while we did also.
Our kitchen counter.
The chef make dinner. Steak with dried vegetables and potatoes in cream, (I don't know what its called in english)
Another nap while waiting for the food.
After a good meal and drinks the moon makes a visit in the dusk.
and we digged down in our sleeping bags.
Best regards
Harald
