Welcome to The 15th edition of the series - Scenes from a bike
This Edition facts:
Location: I am very close to my home in North Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, North Melbourne is just north of the CBD of Melbourne, it was developed originally in the 1830-40's and is a mixture of very old terrace houses, warehouses, apartments and other assorted things.
Date & Weather: Wednesday 30th of November - It's Wednesday it's early in the evening so the light is warm (well before it went behind a cloud) and we are photographing things that face south and west to be warmed by the lowering sun
Equipment: Still trying out my new My Fujifilm X-T5, mated with the trusty the 16-80mm Zoom - and still loving this camera
The Concept & Finances: The concept is simple, I've bought an electric bike, on this bike I explore my hometown, Melbourne Australia and take photos, Priority 1 - Finding new places in Melbourne, Priority 2 - taking better photos, Bonus - Earn back the cost of the bike by creating content and getting paid for it on HIVE. The bike cost $1,100 USD. So far I've earned $77.89 from the previous 13 posts (with one awaiting payment) meaning I've paid for 7% of the bike and I have $1,022 to go. This is going to take some time, but this is all bonus money, the joy is in the taking of photos.
Other stuff: Everything is square today - because, well why not? And for once I didn't actually get off the bike, literally everything was shot from the saddle of the Vyron
Let's see what I found

Red bricks are the language of this town

And of course interspersed with the old building is ultra modern, this is an add on to a primary school which is about 150 years old - it's now a teacher's training centre.
f13, 400ISO, 1/500, 62mm
One of the newer office buildings that are coming into a former industrial area.
11f, 400ISO, 1/500, 67mm
Even with all this concrete nature finds a way to fight back.

But at the end of the day I always return to the red bricks of the warehouses.
Nice bro! Love how you played the shadows!
And the cool thing about the Down Under is that it's so BRIGHT & SUNNY🌞🌞🌞 there!!
