When I did this ethereal makeup look, I thought of doing a transition from a normal lighting to a dimmer one with two different light sources that are not too strong. This is to make the shimmers shine more because it won't easily show up on the camera which would be such a waste considering the shimmers on Flower Knows eyeshadow palette really is just amazing.
Upon editing the transition, it was surprisingly smooth lol and I liked it. :D
Getting the shimmers to show up better was kinda tricky because I never had any experience with this before and I had to observe how the shimmers sparkle in real life. I noticed that it shows better when it's dark and there's only one light source that's quite strong/not diffused so I just sort of replicated that lol.
The orange light source is a tiny lamp that's supposed to mimic a sunset and I guess that's also why the shimmers shine the way they did. The shimmers on my eyes and cheeks were from Flower Knows and it is the most shimmery shimmers I've had lol.
Anyway, it was fun making the transition and learning how to shoot this kind of effect too. That's the fun of making videos and I always liked editing them so I guess I will make more in the future. :D
