Hello,
As I strolled along the famous Avenue FAR in the centre of town ...
Something caught my eye. It wasn't the busy shop windows or the usual hustle and bustle of passers-by, but the elegant flowers embellishing the pavement.
At first glance, these flowers might appear ordinary, almost banal, to people in a hurry who pass by without noticing them. But when I stopped for a moment to observe them, I discovered a singular beauty in them. Each colour reflected the perfect harmony of nature.
On closer inspection, a reminder of the incredible talent of the Creator. These flowers, in their simplicity and brilliance, expressed a profound sense of serenity and perfection. They invited me to reflect for a moment on the beauty that surrounds us every day, every hour, every minute, every second... all the time they are there to remind us that life is beautiful but unfortunately we often forget that in the frantic rush of our lives.
It also made me want to slow down, appreciate these flowers and take photos of them, and as I do so I notice that people look at me and perhaps say: What's he taking a photo of? 😜
As well as travelling, I'm also a great lover of nature, flowers and plants. And you can see this if you go back to some of my earlier posts in which I shared articles about nature and flowers... These little wonders attract me and captivate my attention to the point where every detail, however minute, becomes a source of wonder for me. Whether it's a simple flower, a delicate plant or a majestic tree, I feel a special connection with their beauty and mystery.
I love observing their structure, their colours and even the way they develop. Every time I look at a flower I try to connect with it and understand the message that nature wants to communicate to us.
Below are a few images of these flowers that I captured this morning, playing with different angles to reveal their beauty in all its facets. These photos are much more than just snapshots for me: they're a way of freezing precious moments in time, of sharing what my eyes and my heart have seen, in the hope that they might also please and inspire you...
I recently watched a fascinating video by a flower and plant specialist. He spoke passionately about the many benefits that flowers bring, not only to the environment, but also to our mental health. This documentary helped me discover just how crucial a role flowers play in the balance of nature around us.
The speaker explained that flowers don't just look beautiful; they purify the air, attract essential pollinators like bees and help maintain biodiversity. But that's not all: they also have a calming effect on our minds. A simple walk among flowers or their presence in our living space can reduce stress, improve our mood and even boost our concentration.
Beyond their benefits, he also shared techniques used to grow and care for them. These ranged from natural methods of enriching the soil to tips on how to prolong their flowering period. I found all this incredibly rewarding. Every detail he talked about made me want to dive into this world even more.
After watching this video, my love for flowers intensified. I realised just how precious they are and how much more attention they deserve. Their presence, however discreet, enriches our daily lives and reminds us of the magic of nature.
I'm giving these little flowers as gifts to all the members of the Hive community on Christmas. I wish you all a life full of happiness and success! Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and see you soon!
