RE: International Day to Combat Eating Disorders (TCA)

Hello fellow Hivian! We stop in with gifts of hugs (Unless no) and joy!

Thank you for bringing up this important topic of eating dystopia.

May we share with you a couple tips/observations?

  • When we read this great petite post we get the feeling of wanting more, Your writing is perfect and the topic is top tier, we just feel hungry for more information after finishing the last word. Fill our belly’s with your wonderful words.

  • it doesn’t feel like there’s a point to the blog post, from a writing perspective. There’s a few important facts which is helpful, but not much intro (though the photo can serve as an intro and hook to get the reader in) and no solid end paragraph or sentence. This leaves the reader confused. (Or maybe the confusion is just us over here).

While in the act of writing, I usually try to keep reminding myself that there will be a reader and it’s my job to guide the reader through my content. I try to remember that the reader doesn’t have all of the information that I do (so clarity and detail can be important), people are busy and like to know why your article is worth reading and what takeaway does it offer, and they need to know where the the story/content is going- what is the goal/intent/purpose of the writing?

Overall, This post is a excellent start to a nicely written article on a very important topic.
