Mount Baker, WA

When we moved to Canada it just blew my mind that I could see the USA from our apartment. I know that sounds silly, but coming from an island nation like Australia, it's not possible to see a foreign country from our shores.

This view was photographed in Vancouver, BC on a clear day. In the background is Mount Baker in Washington, USA.

Wonderful view, Canada is a beautiful country, I have visited it a couple of times and both times I did not want to return to my country.

It is a stunning country. And there is so much diversity in landscape too.

Im so jealous with your Nice view.
It is wonderful while seeing the mountain from your apartment.

It rains most of the year in Vancouver so it was only visible on very clear days. But it was always exciting to see it.

Wow. Wonderfull view, I would like to visit it. I hope more photos haha 😄

It is a great view when it's not raining 🤣 Vancouver has a lot of rain so Mt Baker is only visible on very clear days. But at 3286m elevation, it's hard to miss when it's there.

For me it's not silly, on the contrary I think it's a wonderful thing, how gratifying to have that view.

It definitely made it feel more of a novelty for us. I think we appreciated it more too

Epic I always wanted to get that shot but never got the right conditions for it ;-)

That's a shame. I always found it such a surprise when it chose to show itself
