I guess the artists name the paintings whatever comes to their minds at that moment. He probably painted that painting when it was cold and oh wait winter is coming, I should call it winter call hahaha.
My favorite is the penultimate photo. I don't know why but I like it.
You're probably right. It would be nice to ask the artist but he's no longer among us. Plus I don't ever participate at openings as you can't take photos. There are too many people, no way you can take decent photos.
