" Golden Time "
Hello Everyone, how are you? hoping you have a good day today. This time in my blog is a compilation of photos captured from one beautiful beach in Cebu Mahayahay Beach we visited last May 29, 2022. A place where a beautiful sunrise will greet your day with its magical hue in the sky.
We woke up by 5:00 in the morning just to witness this golden sunrise of Mahayahay Beach. With me are my colleagues Jonah and Mangel who become my instant subject for this photo shoot. Glad they let me capture some photos and cooperate with some postures I suggest to them. They are happy to witness this kind of view, they are also rooting the golden time when they visited a beach which we have in common.
Mahayahay Beach is a breathtaking place, you will love how calm and relaxing the beach is. Especially in the morning when you witness the magical views of the sunrise. You will smell the breeze of the ocean and the sound of waves that slowly touches the shore. This is the best part of the beach where you can slowly smile and appreciate the beauty of nature.
In the photos is a local fisherman of Argao Cebu trying to catch some fish at the bay of Mahayahay beach for food for his family. Catching Fish is one of the primary sources of living for every resident of the area. Some of the fishermen in this place do a traditional way of catching fish like what you see in the photo. The Fisherman in the photos is doing a " Sudsud ".
Sudsud is one of the traditional practices of catching fish by Filipinos. It is made of a net and two bamboo poles with a floater-like foam at the tip of the bamboo then they slowly push it onto the shoreline to trap the fish on the net. They usually do this practice in a low level of water.
I also capture the silhouette views of the cottages on the shoreline where you can rent them when you decided to visit the beach. There are a lot of beach resorts in the area ready to give you pleasant accommodation.
I love capturing and documenting a place like this, It makes me smile when I scroll up my phone and saw such photos. I still feel the satisfying view it brings up on me. The fisherman photos are like an artist's drawings! They embody every hope that the sunrise brings to fishermen. Hope that today is a new beginning, they will have a richer catch than the day before and be able to feed their families. ❤️❤️❤️
