Wedding Food in the Villages

Hi, Hope you all are fine. Today, I am going to share some amazing food shots with you. Some of them were clicked by my family and shared with me during my cousin's wedding, which was simple and decent. These are the basic and traditional dishes that the people of the Punjab region use for family events in Pakistan. If you see the pictures below, many dishes are seen. All the recipes and the taste of all these dishes are totally different from each other. Here, in the first picture, you can see the big cooking pot which we call Daig in the Urdu language. All food is cooked on the coal. So, the flavour of food becomes more delicious and the dish becomes more tasty.

Have a look:

Below, you can see the picture of Chicken Pulao/ chicken rice cooked with some spices, herbs and vegetables. Meat curry is also seen in the pictures.

Another random picture of the dish.

This is the wide-angle shot of a foody table. Some bread, Mint sauce and salad.

More salad and mutton curry are seen in the pictures.

Close-up picture of another dish of salad.

Now, I am going to share some pictures of traditional Pakistani sweets which my friend brought for us last week.

The full view of the sweet box.

I like the packaging of this box. The colors on it look so nice so that is why I captured it. Have a look:

That is all about today's post. I hope you like it. Stay positive and stay happy. See you soon Insha Allah. Have a nice Sunday.

Greetings my friend. First of all I want to tell you that I loved the post.🤤

The food simply looks exquisite. I am amazed at the number of dishes and different types of food on the tables. I know some of the foods, but some I don't.

For example, the pink candy in the final photos really caught my attention. Is it a candy right? Or could I be wrong😅. But the truth is that it looks fantastic. Until now I have never seen anything like that. Great 🙌.

The closest thing I've seen to that is a donut, or mashed potatoes with edible paint, the kind you use on cakes.

Well friend a pleasure to stop by. Best regards 🤝

Well, it is a sweet which is made up of milk. Thanks for your comment. Glad to read that you liked it.

Many thanks to you for sharing it.

Have a great day 🤝.

Oh I want to try that too🥰

It looks very festive!
