Something that I love about my country, especially the Andes, which is where I come from, is the enormous mountain range that surrounds it. This beautiful mountain is a National Park, an incredible reserve of flora and fauna, with an extension of 17,000 hectares, full of life, animals, beautiful flowers and imposing landscapes with waterfalls; the truth is that it has a lot of effluents and provides the city with much of the water that it consumes.
I decided to go to one of the nearby paramos that adjoins this national park, and I went through a beautiful mountain full of spectacular greenery and landscapes that seem worthy of a wallpaper, I really loved it and walking outdoors is something I enjoy enormously, I think Venezuela has a huge potential in tourism because in every corner you get beautiful countries full of life, more or less this is how the national park looks and in front of it the city where I live: San Cristóbal.
Algo que me encanta de mi país, en especial de los Andes que es de donde provengo es la enorme cadena montañosa que le rodea, y es que esta hermosa montaña es un Parque Nacional una reserva increíble de flora y fauna, con una extensión de 17.000 hectáreas, llenas de muchísima vida, animales, flores hermosas e imponentes paisajes con cascadas; la verdad tiene muchísimos efluentes y le proporciona a la ciudad gran parte del agua que se consume.
Yo decidí ir a uno de los paramos cercanos que colinda con este parque nacional, y recorrí una hermosa montaña llena de verdes espectaculares y paisajes que parecen dignos de un fondo de pantalla, la verdad me ha encantado y caminar al aire libre es algo que disfruto enormemente, creo que Venezuela tiene un enorme potencial en turismo pues en cada rincón consigues países hermosos y llenos de vida, mas o menos así se ve el parque nacional y frente a el la ciudad donde vivo: San Cristóbal.
I did some research and inside the National Park you can see various types of vegetation depending on the altitude you are at, mostly sub-montane and pre-montane evergreen forests, there is an incredible variety of wild flowers and orchids. Of course I didn't want to touch any of it but I could always take pictures of some flowers, landscapes and water effluents.
Estuve investigando un poco y dentro del Parque Nacional se pueden ver varios tipos de vegetación según la altura a la que te encuentres, en su mayoría son bosques sub-montanos y pre-montanos siempre verdes, existe una variedad increíble de flores silvestres y orquídeas. Por supuesto que yo no quise tocar nada de aquello pero siempre pude retratar algunas flores, paisajes y efluentes de agua.
In one of the spaces going up the mountain, we decided to stop and there was an area where there were houses (like the first picture), we rested there, we saw some pets I guess from the property and I missed this picture at ground level where the grass was, to my surprise a little bee wanted to be the model of the picture and it posed perfectly; it welcomes us to its home, the nature and every time I see a little bee I remember how important they are and how we must protect them.
En uno de los espacios subiendo la montaña, decidimos detenernos y había una zona donde habían casas (como la primera foto), descansamos ahí, vimos algunas mascotas supongo de la propiedad y se me ha escapado esta foto a nivel del suelo donde estaba la grama, para mi sorpresa una pequeña abeja quiso ser la modelo de la foto y poso perfectamente; nos da la bienvenida a su hogar, la naturaleza y cada vez que veo una pequeña abeja recuerdo lo importantes que son y como debemos protegerlas.
I really loved this moor, the weather was spectacular, the landscapes, I feel that I was breathing fresh air, there were many houses adapted to the place (I hope they do not have any impact on the mountain and the environment), I could see many beautiful things, on the way I got a horseshoe (I hope it is good luck), I think that I reflected and thought that we are nothing and we would not exist if the planet simply decided to expel us, we are that small bee for the planet in size, a millionth part if anything, I feel that we must love, care and protect the environment because if we do not do something for it nobody will, we must leave the selfishness because there are many animals that inhabit these areas and are not to blame for the impact we cause to the planet, in fact, in this national park there are many animals that inhabit these areas and they are not to blame for the impact we cause to the planet; In this national park there are animals in danger of extinction such as the spectacled bear, there are cunaguars, deer, foxes and many endemic species that in the end are beginning to be seen near neighbouring populations and not because these animals want to visit us, but because we are invading their territory.
La verdad me ha encantado este páramo, el clima espectacular, los paisajes, siento que estaba respirando aire puro, habían muchas casas adaptadas al lugar (espero que no ejerzan ningún impacto a la montaña y medio ambiente), pude ver muchas cosas bonitas, en el camino me conseguí una herradura (espero sea buena suerte), creo que reflexione y pensé en que somos nada y no existiríamos si simplemente el planeta decidiera expulsarnos, somos esa pequeña abeja para el planeta en tamaño, un millonésima parte si acaso, siento que debemos amar, cuidar y proteger el medio ambiente pues si no hacemos algo por el nadie lo hará, debemos dejar el egoísmo pues existen muchísimos animales que habitan estas zonas y no tienen la culpa del impacto que causamos al planeta, de echo; en este parque nacional hay presencia de animales en peligro de extinción como el oso frontino, hay cunaguaros, venados , zorros y muchas especies endémicas que al final se empiezan a ver cerca de poblaciones aledañas y no porque estos animales quieran visitarnos, sino porque estamos invadiendo su territorio.
Inside the moor we could see small lakes and ponds; inside one of them there were some ducks enjoying the cold, a delicious bath of these ducks that framed a nice background to say goodbye with all the power of the mountain, I think I love this of nature, it distracts you and makes you be and belong, it creates awareness and makes you understand how important nature is and how big and powerful it is.
Dentro del
páramo pudimos ver pequeños lagos y lagunas; dentro de una habían unos patos disfrutando del rico frió, un baño delicioso de estos patos que enmarcaron un lindo fondo para despedirnos con todo el poder de la montaña, creo que me encanta esto de la naturaleza, te distrae y te hace ser y pertenecer, te crea conciencia y te hace entender lo importante que es la naturaleza y lo grande y poderosa que es.
