I’ve recently started taking photographs of places I love. I have no experience, but I’m willing to learn.
Comencé recientemente a tomar fotografías de lugares que amo. No tengo ninguna experiencia en esto, pero estoy dispuesto a aprender.
This time I bring a small photographic session that I made in one of the cultural icons of my city Maracay: La Plaza Bolívar. Which was the time of its foundation,1930, the largest square in South America, and is still among the largest with 320 meters long x 106 wide.
En esta oportunidad traigo una pequeña sesión fotográfica que realicé en uno de los íconos culturales de mi ciudad Maracay: La Plaza Bolívar. La cual en el momento de su fundación,1930, fue la plaza más grande del continente suramericano y todavía está dentro de las más grandes con 320 metros de largo x 106 de ancho.
It is very striking for its vegetation, there are many trees. And it also has several pergolas.
Es muy llamativa por su vegetación hay muchos árboles. Y además posee varias pérgolas.
In the center of the square stands an equestrian statue of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, the most illustrious hero of my country Venezuela.
En el centro de la Plaza destaca una estatua ecuestre del Libertador Simón Bolívar, el procer más ilustre de mi país Venezuela.
Here is a picture of the Bolivar's statue and the Sindoni Tower as a background. That tower is the biggest of my city and it was put there intentionally, so it could be seen from any perspective of the city.
Plaza Bolívar is surrounded by several important civic-military buildings.
La Plaza Bolívar se encuentra rodeada por varias importantes construcciones de carácter cívico-militar.
In this photo we can see the old Government Palace.
En esta foto podemos observar al antiguo palacio de Gobierno.
We can also admire the Sucre Officers School and the monument to the Battle of Carabobo on June 24, 1821.
También podemos admirar la Escuela de Oficiales Sucre y el monumento a la Batalla de Carabobo el 24 de junio de 1821.
At the same time we can observe the Maracay Opera Theater. Which was remodeled approximately 5 years ago.
A su vez podemos observar El Teatro de la Ópera de Maracay. El cual fue remodelado hace aproximadamente 5 años.
Unfortunately I don't have pictures of this theater before it was remodelled.
Plaza Bolívar is one of the few places in Maracay that still stand out as "Garden City." Its freshness invites us to sit in the shade in the middle of a city with a boiling climate.
La plaza Bolívar es uno de los pocos lugares de Maracay que aún la resaltan como "Ciudad Jardín." Su frescura nos invita a sentarnos bajo las sombras en medio de una ciudad con un clima que hierve.

That's because it was a very hot day. In the pictures I look happy I was in the cool part of the square ajjajaja. Greetings!

Thanks, man! This is not Bolívar, this is Aragua, but you're right Bolívar is an amazing state to visit! I hope I'll go some day.
