Smoke on the water - I'm able to snap these once a year!

What you see in these pictures is something really beautiful that usually occurs during late autumn -> winter here in the north. The smoke on the water is created when the air cools down quicker than the water so the warmer water evaporates into the air and cools down into a smoke that travels along the surface of the water. I took this pictures last year when the weather suddenly got really chilly and I'm still waiting for this years smoke!

It's so magical when you move around in the boat surrounded by smoke! Even cooler is when you drive by boat in the darkness, surrounded by smoke under a clear star sky. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to capture that but I can tell you, it's pretty hard to navigate :D.

It's really important not to fly the drone for long periods of time because the moisture sticks to the rotors of the drone and the temperature makes it freeze quickly and you don't want to end up crashing into the sea!
