As mentioned in my post yesterday, I wasn't active in Hive lately due to a crisis we had to deal with.
We've been traveling up and down between Durban and Johannesburg, a 6-hour trip one way, twice in less than 13 days.
Needless to say, I also didn't get out to take photos that much either.
Today I would like to share some photos I took in the Sarnia Japanese Gardens a while ago. I never knew these gardens existed. I knew about one in Durban and one in Amanzimtoti though.
Sarnia is a suburb in Pinetown, just west of Durban, on the east coast of South Africa.
We were pleasantly surprised and I aimed to capture the calmness and peace we experienced on that day in the gardens.
There are many places where one can sit down to relax and just enjoy the tranquility around you.
Here is some odd-looking stone, standing upright next to a tree...
Some beautiful stones in the water, invite you to walk across the water. On the other side of the water, a duck was enjoying the green grass, unaware that I was toying with the idea of sneaking up on him from behind...lol...Only to take some photos of him though😅.
This guy was also enjoying the peace in the garden.
A beautiful scene, with an old tree in the middle of the pond.
In the meantime, the duck decided to take to the water.
There are some nice open spaces to walk around in.
One of the interesting walkways takes you through the garden, go down some steps first...
Another set of steps leads you to a different part of the gardens.
If you bring some snacks along, you can sit down at this table and maybe have a picnic.
I'll end this post with a shot I took from the shadows, looking out into the sunlight over the gardens.
That's it for today folks.
Thank you for reading my post. I do appreciate it!

Hi, I hope everything is getting better over there. This walk was certainly refreshing. Very nice views of that garden. What a nice place for bird watching. 😉
