This little iguana made it all the way to where I was sitting to save himself from the claws of a cat who wanted him for lunch.
She felt confident around me because I am the one who feeds her every day and she knows I am there to help her.

Yes, they are cute when they are small, then they tend to be a little scary.
Not scary to me even in their full size ;) When I lived in Mexico, I used to meet these guys every day as they were literally everywhere. Amazing creatures.
Perhaps you would like to see this case, another iguana harassed by a cat, I think it was agitated, because it never sought to attack me.
