In what I saw, this contest seemed to me the best opportunity to collect (among the thousands of photos that I took and treasured) this year, the ones that made my 2021 was full of beautiful and not so good moments but that in the end the I enjoyed or they made me stronger, so welcome to my memory of the year 2021. I start this post with one of the most emblematic photos, which was on the birthday of my best friend @amatorrs on July 15 and the 5 of us were able to be together, @ yacfrost, @ gvalentinaastu, @ yezzus21 and myself (yes we are all part of hive thanks to @amatorrs) That day was very special because apart from the fact that we were together, we danced just dance until we were tired, (especially me, who was dancing since I arrived) and this photo is the best that has remained since then, of This group is me who is in charge of taking the photographs, so the tripod was my best ally to be able to capture this and most of the photos we have together.
After almost 2 years without seeing each other and only maintaining virtual contact due to the pandemic. We met for the first time on my birthday, on June 14 because I moved back to my old home and by that date we could all see each other, in this photo my smile speaks alone, all the joy that was emanating did not enter me That day, and the most beautiful thing is that I could feel the same from them, this being the photo that captures our happiness at a time like this, we were happy to be together as the combo that we are. That day we did karaoke, we danced, and we talked until dawn, they more than friends, they are my brothers.
That same day my cousin visited me, who was even 3 years old without being able to see her since her last birthday and literally that day we took too many photos, taking advantage of the time and these are my favorites, that day she also met my friends and we shared a lot, It made me happy that she was there because she is very close to me.
This year was about meeting wonderful people, learning new things and reunions with friends that I had not seen for a long time for different reasons. But especially on February 7 I met my friend Andres and he, very kindly invited me to an academy that was near my house, to record a dance video (I told him that I liked twerk but I was not an expert) and the day Next I met bio who is the beautiful blonde girl you see there.
Since I met them both, in that academy we had pleasant and fun moments, where I also met a group of super talented dancers, (that's right, they are the boys in the middle photo) that day we were creating a catalog to carry out events and start generating money by joining everyone's different dance styles, (although it was not executed due to quarantine factors and the academy was closed).
The photo where she has a yellow shirt was personalized by me, for her twerk workshop that she did that same month, and where I learned a lot of twerk steps, I have no evidence in XD photos so I can only say that, later from that class I considerably improved the steps I knew and those I learned. All those photographs represent the most special and incredible moments that I shared with them this year.
This day was definitely iconic, the best moments I managed to capture from the ´´no birthday of @ gvalentinaastu´´ I took these photos in August, (it was two months before his birthday) his parents were happy because Greece is already very close to graduating and they invited us to a hamburger, we did karaoke, and we shared the happiness of an upcoming achievement for our friend who will be the first of all of us to graduate. We started joking with the non-birthday, so seriously that we even made a post on Facebook where we all went out congratulating Greece XD (the funniest thing was seeing people congratulating her and others confused) so I was baptized this day. It was a great moment this year that was simply ICONIC.
We always like to go to the beach to enjoy the sound of the waves and the morning sun, these photos were taken at the end of January, dairy near Lido beach. I am usually the one who is commissioned to take photos of special moments, my grandmother is the pro / retired family photographer, and every time we go to the beach I do her respective photo session. My mother is very photogenic and I took advantage of that moment to create photos with them, although the photos with the shirts that I customized for Valentine's Day are my favorites this year because my bond with my mother is very special, that's why give away one of those shirts, as she is my best friend.
This year we overcome several personal obstacles, just this year he had to assimilate in a frontal way (and somewhat abrupt for me) the fact of being gay. However, it has shown a lot of improvement regarding the subject and we have improved our mother and son communication to understand each other a little more.
As not everything in my year was perfect, my entire month of February was super happy until my boyfriend (currently ex) gave me the news that he was leaving the country, so I obviously felt terrible but despite everything , we prefer to enjoy the little time that we had left regardless of the situation. This photo has a strong meaning because it was a day before he left. We shared a lot that day (for auction days before 14F) I bought some great girls, we walked along the colon walk and then we spent the afternoon talking and sharing the time we had left. But this photo is definitely a favorite this year.
In October my aunt began to frequent my house, because thanks to a company called trust investing (a digital business that we all develop as a family), she united us in an incredible way, since we have changed our energy in a notorious way after knowing this opportunity. The day I took this photo we were making a family video to promote a reunion, and the truth now that I remember we don't have many recent family photos. so I keep this photo with great affection and without a doubt it was a strong positive point of this year.
I could say that my year only had incredible people and moments, but the truth is that this year art is part of me. This year I learned a new art form called body paint, which I used to create content and take artistic photos. Putting art and photography together is undoubtedly a very powerful combination. I took all these photos the last months of the year, it was when painting my face became an art that I am increasingly passionate about, although as you can see I also used @gvalentinaastu as a canvas and I will see @yacfrost's sister who collaborated to make art for them.
What ended up giving this year a plus was having been selected as a sysabe talent (a brand of art and stationery products), I did this body paint to compete and ended up winning, it is like being a brand ambassador which always It has been my dream, this photo represents a lot, it was the one that I showed in the video together with my works of art and without a doubt with this my year I can say that it was great.
Finally, these are the most emblematic works that I did in the course of this year (all are published in hive, in case you want to take a look at his creative process), I learned a lot despite some circumstances and met very special people for me That made this year quite enjoyable. I did things that I thought I would get to do in addition to meeting several goals and something that makes me feel very good, the key is always to move forward and take risks, because he who does not risk does not win.
