Una mañana en un café de Buenos Aires - A morning in a café in Buenos Aires (ENG/ESP)

Son como las once de la mañana y descubrimos un café a solo algunas cuadras de nuestro Airbnb. Anoche conocí Buenos Aires. Es doce de agosto y después de dos años del "quiero ir" la realidad lo convierte en vida, y en este momento estoy tomando un Te raro con leche que sabe increíble mientras le tomo una foto al Capuchino de mi novia. Han pasado meses desde que la vieja Nikon no sale del estuche para tomar unas fotos.

It's about eleven in the morning and we discover a cafe just a few blocks from our Airbnb. Last night I met Buenos Aires. It's August twelfth and after two years of the "I want to go" reality turns it into life, and right now I'm drinking a rare Te con leche that tastes amazing while taking a picture of my girlfriend's Cappuccino. It's been months since the old Nikon hasn't come out of the case to take a few pictures.

Quisiera retroceder unos años y volver a la Universidad a alguna clase relacionada a cine. No puedo tenerlo, lo que si puedo es vivir en un reecuentro con uno de mis mejores amigos. Ahora puedo conocer su capital desde la última vez que nos vimos en la mía (Montevideo).

I would like to go back a few years and go back to college for some film related classes. I can't have it, what I can have is to live in a reunion with one of my best friends. Now I can know his capital since the last time we saw each other in my capital (Montevideo).

El resto del día terminaría en una visita por el Centro Cultural de Recoleta, una pasada rapida por la Floralis Genérica y un mini recorrido en el Subte. Buenos Aires se vive rapida y es gigante. Hay gente, movimiento, arte y comercio, y lo hay en gran escala. La capital es sencillamente una locura.

The rest of the day would end with a visit to the Recoleta Cultural Center, a quick trip to the Floralis Genérica and a mini tour in the Subway. Buenos Aires is fast paced and gigantic. There are people, movement, art and commerce, and there is on a large scale, the capital is simply crazy.

Y así concluye mi diario después de mucho tiempo de no actualizar el blog. Estar aquí es gratificante y más cuando puedo ver lo mucho que la Comunidad ha crecido y todo ha evolucionado. El ecosistema cada vez es más grande y muchas personas dan lo mejor de si en lo que hacen y en lo que escriben. Hive es un proyecto al cual le tengo fe.

And so concludes my diary after a long time of not updating the blog. Being here is rewarding and even more when I can see how much the community has grown and everything has evolved. The ecosystem is getting bigger and bigger and many people give their best in what they do and what they write. Hive is a project I have faith in.
