RE: Jungfraujoch in summer

Wow, a fantastic mountain ride despite some trouble with the weather... The photos are really lovely and I was captivated looking at this one (below) where those birds are flying and give a superior visual impact to the imageo... Here in my country (Venezuela) we have already lost the last glacier, it is a pity that this is happening... I think that due to the global climate change, this kind of pictures will end up becoming a valuable document for future generations... Thank you very much for sharing this article, it's always a pleasure to appreciate your work here at #Hive!...

It's alarming how fast they are melting, and I'm surprised to see that most people don't seem to care. I'm sorry to hear about the glacier in Venezuela.

Thank you for your kind comment and continuous support. BTW, do you need that this is my secondary account? My main account is @delishtreats 😊

Awww, I'm pretty pessimistic that we as humanity can do anything to reverse or at least stop climate change (technically we could, I think, but I don't think it's feasible to muster the necessary will on a global level)... I live in a place where 45 years ago we would wake up to beautiful cloudy mornings with temperatures between 12-15°C (which is cold for us in the tropics) but now we have days with up to 37-40°C and it's impossible to predict when it's going to rain or not, we've lost over 50% of our forests and I think over 70% of our insect species are no longer here (I know this because I used to take a lot of macro photos back in 2004 and used to determine IDs with the help of specialists)... We really notice how things have changed here! :(

Yes, I've noticed you use two accounts on #Hive, I think that's great, plus I enjoy your excellent articles on either one you use ;)... I just finished reading a wonderful one where you had to deal with 6 huge glasses of beer!...hahaha :)... I was a big beer drinker, but a couple of decades ago I changed a lot of my habits, I stopped drinking alcohol, stop smoking and became a vegetarian... It was very strange, because I come from a family where whiskey, tobacco and meat are "almost a religion to follow" hahaha :))

Greetings and happy weekend from now on!...
