Wild Life, Time To Relax, Overcome Stress, Anxiety, Depression Lost Behind The Lens

Longing for open space once again, the bushveld is calling, going over photographs not yet used I overcome pangs of strong desire to be in this place once again.

Become part of the story, tap into local knowledge, sound, movements, take lots of photos to enjoy later, when like myself I know the yearning of a journey eats into ones soul.

Nyala she stood gracefully beneath the barren tree waiting for the rest of the female herd to catch up to her, quiet moments to enjoy alone.

Burchell's Zebra enjoying a romp in the dew ridden grass, while Red-billed oxpecker hitches a ride, great symbiotic relationship between the two. Many large mammals enjoy being cleaned of parasites while going about their daily lives.

Handsome young male bull Nyala slips out from between the trees to show the ladies he is growing up, soon a contestant in courtship.

Oh, sighed ewe quietly continuing to nibble on the leaves I too am young and soon ready to breed.

Hiding in plain sight through the harsh African thorns quite protected, unperturbed by man or beast.

Not hindered by hunters in protected areas where the Nyala is known to be a shy animal of Southern Africa. Smaller than the Kudu and larger than the Bushbuck.

Hope you enjoyed a photophile someone who loves photography. never goes out the door without a camera, best way to find relaxation now exploring all over once again.

Hello dear friend @joanstewart good day
What a beautiful experience to be close to these beautiful animals, appreciating this in their own habitat is an incredible experience
beautiful photographs, excellent shots, I appreciate that you have shared with us
have a beautiful day

Never silent out there, extremely peaceful, always try to blend into nature, enjoy the rhythm in the wild.

I'm a photophile too hehe.. I have never seen a zebra in my life... I wonder if there is one in Asia haha..

!PIZZA

You will have to take a hike out, ask all the other wildlife !LOLZ

If none in Asia, plenty on the African plains, different Zebra species of which I have seen two.

Wonderful. I just love the bushveld and the animals in our wildlife nature reserves. Thank you for sharing! We are blessed with such amazing animals.

Often our there we sit still, wait and watch from a spot.

Secret is to blend in, no strong perfume, after shave, hair shampoo, be the animal for a day or two, then watch the difference they hardly notice you.

So true. Blending in is the best option. Would be wonderful (if safe) to stay between the animals for a while and return to nature, so to speak.

The young male Nyala does looks handsome indeed, he just need to develop the male luring tactics 😃
Beautiful photos, I am thinking of investing in a camera. Any advice for which afforadble one to buy?

Male was great, have seen them fully grown in the region he looked unruffled in his stature, still on the young side for luring the females.

Canon Powershot is my camera of preference, buy a good GoPro jacket (or similar) to slip it into which is material as well then slide into your pocket, very handy!

Great I will look it up and save towards it. Thanks.

I left you a WhatsApp message 😉

So beautiful. What special memories. I've seen those shy creatures hop 2 metre fencing as if it wasn't there

Very shy in the open, normally enjoy thicket near water holes, to me the ewe is one of the prettiest antelope with those lovely large ears and cute face.

Very pretty!

Corking pics. I love a good zebra and to get so close!

Zeebies are horses with pajamas on !LOLZ see them most places we go.

Haha, that's awesome. They are so exotic to us!!

Hello, @joanstewart
I never see zebra in my life and your post made me happy. Feels real.

Thank you so much for sharing and greetings from Indonesia

The zebra is relatively common, we see many once you go into areas where some farmers keep a few or in the parks as these two were.

Thanks for visiting and kind comment.
