Indeed and there is trouble in many countries, so our situation is not unique.
Everyone is out to make quick bucks out of what we call democracy and communism is also not the answer. Military coups also result in disaster and a new answer should be investigated. Crypto might make a lot of difference in the financial context, but the status quo are clinging to their bucks.

Oh yes and we know that not all will make it. The good thing is that they all shine in proper maths and there are many other computer fields that they can enter. They can already make websites and games.

Oh yes, small businesses is what is going to save this country and here you also mentioned the "fall back" option. They will all receive small business management training and such in their second year. We run a 3 year project from Grade 8 to Grade 10. At the end of GRADE 10, they will do the Python exam and those that pass will walk into a job.

Sounds well mapped and orchestrated, now it is up to the the youth who are willing to put themselves out there!
