RE: The story of our Gin tour.

Neat place to visit witness how they make products, something of interest to many it's not always about alcohol which is good.

Gin not something I would enjoy, most probably settle on a fruit blend through their system as well.

Thanks for excerpts not a production line that ever attracted attention previously.

Yeah, we were mightily impressed by their purification systems, and like you say the fruit blends really taste heavenly.

It was a first for us as well, and we see many people that visit the site. So, yes it will become popular.

Not a place I have visited although have heard of new ones springing up here in SA.

Only ever knew one gin drinker, she was always depressed and weepy perhaps it is better to stick to the fruit juice. Hot days here nothing beats an Appletiser, something I have enjoyed since young. (Originated in Elgin Valley, you know well.)

Most of the new ones are opened by Ginologist, as they have branches across the country.

Never had gin, but I agree with you on the fruit juices, as they are pure and not loaded with additives.
When we stayed in Grabouw, we went to the Appletiser factory in Elgin, and a manager showed us a beautiful little chapel on the property with a long history.
