That is a super lightbox setup for convenience in photography of small pieces, the miniatures sure are dinky small wonder if they were made to model into train or car sets that were the rave back when.
Great detail on each Jay, have an amazing weekend and regards to Lulu trust you both holding up through the cold season.

Thanks for your visit, that was always my plan when I first bough these to eventually build a train setup and have these houses spread around the tracks, havent got he tracks and trains yet but maybe one day
You to have a good weekend ;)
Husband had a massive train set on raised table with villages, rivers, stations, signals. When we married we had nowhere to store it then sold it to a charity who raised funds putting it up in Malls on display.
Very expensive hobby which I think his father had more fun from than he did as a child.
Sounds like it was such a cool setup he had a pity there wasnt room for it but at least it helped a charity
Was an impressive set up with homemade table, collapsible sides and a wooden top to cover when not in use keeping dust off.
Cleaning railway tracks was painful as it had to be spotless to run efficiently. Oh the whole theme was of Switzerland with mountains and people, small cars it was "birthday presents" for many years, all electrical.
WOW that does sound amazing clearly so much time and love went into it
It was a big set, table about 5.5 ft x 4 ft wide, very realistic scenery.
