As the teams prepared and looked forward to this soccer match that took place in Christchurch on the 25th of January 2025, for the likes of me and my colleagues it was a day we had been looking forward beginning from late 2024 because the company we work for is an official sponsor of Wellington Phoenix, so we were offered a Wellington Phoenix shirts for attending the match.
On that day, we started off with BBQ at our offices and then proceeded to the stadium 🏟 for the game. This is the second time the company has taken us out to the stadium. The first time was to watch a rugby 🏉 match, and this time, it was for a soccer ⚽️ match.
Being out with the crowd was thrilling as we all cheered our teams. Fortunately, the weather was okay, not warm, but okay for me with 3 layers, considering Christchurch has been cold all summer.
This was one of my Christchurch moments to be treasured and worth sharing with you.
