RE: The tough side of life.

Wow, I have no reason anymore to complain about anything ... what a sad story. I could live with the fact that the flood has destroyed my house, but people who take advantage to rob my house while I can't be there are the worst and they even burn the house down - how bad can people be?

Things are much worse here than this story my friend. People get killed for their phones and even for their shoes. Life has become meaningless for so many, and they will do anything to make a quick buck.
The country is in trouble as millions are unemployed and there are simply no jobs available.
Desperation and cunning rules.

Life is all we have and it's most important that we respect it. I know it's hard for these people ... stealing things is one thing and bad enough, although I can understand stealing for food, but stealing everything one has and then burn his house down, that's evil.
Easy said for someone who lives in a safe country and who has a safe job, isn't it?

Yes, you are right, as life is supposed to be regarded as sacred. But things are much worse here and it goes way past one's understanding.
I suppose they set the house on fire to erase their fingerprints.
Yep, you can thank the Lord that you live in a safe country my friend. None in their right minds will mess with a senior police officer, so your job is very safe 😉 !LOLZ

Oh wow, they burn the house to get rid of their fingerprints - I would just wear cheap gloves 😉 !LOLZ
Yep, reading your stories make me glad to live here, although it isn't always a pleasure to be and to work here 😏

That's what I am told, but it might also be for other reasons. One that I can think of is that they don't like anyone living there, as the resident might spy on their illegal actions near the river.

Why is it that as humans, we are never totally happy with anything? Even those that live in castles are not happy and the ones that live in mud huts are also not happy. Something is wrong here. 😛 !LOLZ
There is a song that goes; "This world is not my home.... " by Jim Reeves and I think that's the answer.

Cheers and thanks.

That could be a better reason, but still so bad.

I agree that something's wrong here 😏 !LOLZ
I'm also guilty for always wating more or something better, but the older I get the more I appreciate what I have.

Oh yeah, it's a big fight against the criminals here.

Appreciation is always a good thing and coupled to it's cousin gratitude, one can certainly accept things so much better. You have food to eat, clothes to wear, a nice bed to sleep in and a roof over your head. Plus a loving wife and great children. And the bonus is that your parents are still alive, and they love you.
I mean, what more can a man want?
Okay, I know that you will mention more things, but find peace in what you have 😊 !LOLZ

Cheers and thanks.
