There's no way to get me in such a cage. I have seen videos where a shark has destroyed the cage π¦π± !LOLZ
I can honesty say that I have been at the sea for one week, but haven't been in the water once π but I have done a lot of walking and hiking, just like I would have done at home π
Later we went on a long walk to the next village, had a drink and walked back. I the evening we were at a restaurant with "all you can eat" option... delicious π but too much π«
And after eating, my son and I went to the beach to shoot the Milky-Way. But there was too much light pollution and we have to learn a lot more of how to shoot astro photos.
At the moment we are packing our things, cleaning the mobile home and at about noon we'll leave towards home.
Hope you're enjoying a lovely Friday, my friend ππ

Only joking, but thank goodness that I have claustrophobia, so yes, the inside of such a cage will also never see me :) !LOLZ
Very wise I would say and at least even though yu did the normal things, all of the sights were different.
I don't like that "all that you can eat" restaurants, as one's eyes are bigger than one's stomach and too many of the this and that and that and that creates havoc in the stomach :)
Glad that you could still walk after gorging at the restaurant and astro photos are a totally different game. Remember my night shots of the giant fruit bats? A real struggle to take photos at night, what still the milky-way.
Wow! Time flies, as it feels like you went yesterday. By now you will hopefully be back home and maybe already in bed.
19C and the sea mist pales everything, but I got some nice bird shots my friend.
I hope that you are still off work this weekend?
Cheers and thanks.
When we are in such a "all you can eat" restaurant we always take only a little bit of of the food that looks good and if we like it, we take more. Well, in that restaurant everything was so very delicious that I couldn't even taste everything before I was full π !LOLZ
The Milky-way photos didn't turn out good. My lenses are for landscape photography (f/4.0), but not for taking photos of stars. My son's lenses are better (f/1.8) and I'm curious on his photos.
Yep, I'm still off work and after a day in the office tomorrow I'll leave towards the lake Traunsee in Upper Austria where I'll have the training I've told you before. Hopefully it will not be too boring.
We've come back late in the evening on Friday and yesterday was more or less a relaxing day at home. The nights and mornings have become quite cold - Autumn is on the doorsteps. At the moment it's about 16C outside.
Apart from the long exposure images like this one
I have taken only a few "normal" landscape photos like this one from that small mountain
and this one from a little light house to which I hiked with my son
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday, my friends π hopefully a bit warmer than 19C π
Sending !PIZZA and !LUV as always π

I remember our first visit to such a place and man, I took a bit of everything, as my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My plate was heaped with food and I ate it all. Not even place in my stomach for deserts. That night I couldn't sleep and I felt terrible the next day. That was our first and last visit to such a place, as now we avoid them totally :) !LOLZ
Emojis gone again.
Yes, one has to have the correct lenses and shutter speeds. So I presume your son has not shown you his photos yet?
Ah, okay you have told me about it and I really hope that you will enjoy that outing to upper Austria.
You have taken some beautiful pictures there my friend and my favorite is the Lighthouse, as you got the sun in an ideal position :)
Can you believe that it is Spring here, but we are wet and at 11C. So at least you had a nice rest.
Cheers and thanks.
Hihi, I can clearly see your plate π !LOLZ I take a bit of the first kind of food, then, when I have eaten it, a bit of the second food, and so on until my stomach is full. That way I never have much on my plate and still have some space in my stomach for a piece of desert π
Right, my son hasn't found the time yet to edit his photos. He has made some landscapes photos like mine, but he likes more street photography and cars.
Thanks that you like the images - I knew you'd like the light house most π
This image is from that super high mountain π the flags to the right show windy it was.

Hahaha, oh yes, I think that I had too many eyes, as it was loaded with all sorts :)
You are obviously doing it the right way and I will remember this.
Please remember to show me some of his photos when he shares it with you. That might be only next year if I know boys :)
I think that the lighthouse would also be your favorite :)
Yep, same wind as ours. What is that building on the hill? An old fort looks like. If it was, then who would build a fort on a 349m hill? Great photo btw.
Cheers and thanks.
There are many who put everything on their plate, eat a few bites and get the next plate. That's not good and waste of food.
If he shares his photos with me one day, I will show them to you, of course.
Thanks, it is an old church from WW1, but I think it was also used for soldiers.
They still use it as a church from time to time, I believe.

That is so stupid Hannes. Selfish and disgusting.
You know that I have much patience and I don't mind waiting for a year or two :) !LOLZ
I could see that it is a historic building, but I looks a bit run down. I suppose the congregation sings very softly during sermons and the priest whispers in fear that some bricks will land on their heads :)
Cheers and thanks.

You guys should be entering Autumn very soon.

Some trees are already changing colour - I hope for a nice and colourful Autumn and for a lovely Spring in South Africa π

Autumn is the best season for taking lovely colorful photos. :)
They say that when our spring is this cold, then we will have a very hot summer. Last summer was hot and if this summer is hotter, then we are going to fry.
Cheers and thanks.
