At end, it happened! Is not raining anymore. Maybe I seem a bit crazy with such enthusiasm, and I actually like rainy and cloudy days. But I also like to go out to take photos, especially of flowers, and the gray and rainy days do not help. Spring and early summer are the best time of year for obvious reasons, but due the Covid's lock down and almost a month of rain and storms, I missed the flower season.
So this morning, nature gifted me a golden sunrise, announcing the end of the rains and the welcoming the summer. And also an atrocious heat, what a hell, I really like winter. But everything is welcome to take some photos, of something other than shooting from my balcony.
¡Por fin ha sucedido! Ha parado de llover. Parezco un poco loco con tanto entusiasmo, y en realidad me gusta las lluvia y los días grises. Pero también me gusta salir a hacer fotos, especialmente de flores, y los días grises y lluviosos no ayudan. La primavera y inicios de verano, es la mejor época del año por motivos obvios, y con la cuarentena debida al Covid y casi un mes de lluvias y tormentas, me he perdido la temporada de flores.
Así que esta mañana, la naturaleza me ha obsequiado con un amanecer dorado, anunciando el fin de las lluvias y dando la bienvenida al verano. Y también un calor de mil diablos, en realidad me gusta el invierno. Pero todo sea por tomar unas fotos, de algo que no sea disparar desde mi balcon. Y mejor hacerlo rápido pues, con este calor no van a durar por mucho tiempo.
Actually, this has been one of the best flower seasons in time, and for nature as well. It's a shame to have missed it. But it is the fact that I have missed it, like everybody, what has allowed nature to re-growth as it has not been seen for a long time. The lack of human action during the lock down, so mainly not being polluting the atmosphere for two months and the silence and calm that has been during this lock down time, what has been very good for plants and animals. This year there have been a lot of flowers, and the harvests have been excellent. And I have never seen birds nesting in my town by the hundreds.
Maybe this should make us consider many things. Our impact on nature is nothing new, and is not a positive thing for sure, but there is also that feeling that at this point there is no way to go back. However, nature has proven to be more fit than it may seem, thus re-growing in just on a couple months. Perhaps living in a healthier world is easier than it may seem. Unfortunately, the economic interests are not really go in this way, beyond the commodification of an ecology "to feel good with yourself".
En realidad, esta ha sido una de las mejores temporadas de flores, y para la naturaleza en general. Es una pena hábermela perdido. Pero es el hecho de habérmela perdido, al igual que el resto de personas, es lo que ha permitido a la naturaleza rebrotar como no se había visto en mucho tiempo. La falta de acción humana durante la cuarentena, osea principalmente el no estar contaminando la atmósfera durante dos meses más el silencio y la calma que se ha respirado durante este tiempo, ha sido muy bueno para las plantas y los animales. Este año han habido muchísimas flores, y las cosechas están sido excelentes. Y nunca había visto pájaros anidando en mi pueblo por centenares.
Tal vez esto debería hacernos considerar muchas cosas. No es nada nuevo nuestra influencia en la naturaleza, la cual no es nada positiva, pero también esta esa sensación de que a estas alturas ya no hay marcha atrás. Sin embargo, la naturaleza ha demostrado estar más en forma de lo que pueda parecer, rebrotando asi en cuestion de dos meses. Tal vez vivir en un mundo más saludable es más fácil de lo que pueda parecer. Por desgracía los intereses económicos no van realmente en esta línea, más allá de la mercantilización de una ecología "para sentirse bien con uno mismo".
About the technical stuff, the post-process has been more or less similar to the usual one, but with the advantage (in the case of flowers) that the "smartphones" do a much better job with subjects who are close, so I haven't had noise or color fading problems. I have even been able to publish them with a little more resolution than usual. The new challenge for me, has been the "smartphone" itself. The last time I took this kind of photos was with the old one, and it changes a lot compared to what I have now. This one has better resolution and the colors are more natural. Also a substantial improvement on ISO issues. The worst of all, has been to find that the manual mode does not allow you to play with the camera aperture. It has an aperture mode, but then the remaining settings are automatic. Perhaps there is an app with more features than the one that comes by default in the "smartphone", suggestions are accepted.

En el apartado técnico, el tipo de proceso ha sido más o menos parecido al habitual, pero con la ventaja (en el caso de las flores) de que los "smartphones" hacen bastante mejor trabajo con sujetos que están cerca, así que no he tenido problemas de ruido o de pérdida de color. Incluso las he podido publicar con algo más de resolución de la habitual. El nuevo reto en ha sido el "smartphone" en si. La última vez que hice este tipos de fotos fue con el antiguo, y cambia bastante respecto al que tengo ahora. Este tiene mejor resolución y los colores son más naturales. También una mejora substancial en temas de ISO. Lo peor ha sido descubrir que el modo manual, no permite jugar con la apertura de la cámara. Dispone de un modo de apertura, pero entonces el resto de parametros son automáticos. Tal vez hay alguna app con más prestaciones que la que viene por defecto en el "smartphone", se aceptan sugerencias.

Me alegra que te hayan gustado mis fotos. Los "smartphones" han evolucionado mucho, así que a veces tienen mejores prestaciones que cámaras bastante antiguas, y/o de gama baja. Igualmente no hay nada como una cámara. Saludos!
