Friday chill walk on the beach photos

The snow has finally melted here (mostly). It's been a long very cold winter and we haven't been down to the beach in ages so we decided to take a walk down there today.

There's something beautiful about all the textures of rocks, wood etc that have been weathered by the ocean.

POV you're a piece of driftwood 👁️

Whenever I go to beach I am always scanning the sand, I don't know why but I am convinced one day I will find an amazing treasure. Maybe someone dropped something cool or something floats in from the water? Well I saw this lobster trap from a distance and decided to check it out...

Sadly I couldn't get close enough to see if there were any treasures inside (or lobsters because the rocks were kind of slippery and the waves were washing in a bit too close.

It's pretty cool looking though, draped with seaweed!

The vibe was kind of grey as you can see here and it was pretty windy next to the water. Just as we were leaving it started to snow a little...

I didn't end up finding any treasure but I did find a lot of fun seaweed:

Spring is finally here, we haven't had any snow this year. We usually get half a meter from December to mid-March, but we see spring coming in big steps, which means it's too early. Because setbacks always come.
Such beautiful photos that are so inspiring. I wonder where you live?

The opposite for us usually we only get a few small snows that melt in a few days, this year it was every week! I'm in the east coast of Canada in Nova Scotia 🇨🇦

Wow, you live so high up, I didn't think the climate had changed that much. You live almost at the Arctic Circle. And so do I!

It's always been a little milder here in winter than other more central places in Canada, I think because our province is surrounded by ocean. But I remember when I was younger we got a lot more snow every year, it definitely seems to have changed...

Nice beach you got there! ;)
I think you found some treasures.. i like the lobster trap :)

Can't wait until it's warm enough to swim again 😭

How beautiful the sea looks on the grey day! I especially love the second picture, it's a beautiful postcard!

The whole coastline is very picturesque, lots of old style houses and fishing shacks ✨

Ideal for exploring! I love doing that kind of explorations, for more pictures like these!
