Witnessing a sunrise is a very challenging thing. Aside from you have to get up pretty early, sometimes, you just won't know if there's going to be a sunrise view at the location that you planned.
When we visited Cadapdapan Rice Terraces in Candijay, Bohol, Philippines, we were not sure if the sun would shine, it rained the night before. Our research said the sun will rise by 5:45 AM but it only showed up after six in the morning. It's a great feeling being able to see the sunrise as and the sun's rays just peaking through the clouds.
My husband and I had to take our photos first. Then I had to take multiple photos of the rice terraces and stitch them in post because we don't have that wide lens. Stitching in post is one of the ways that I am able to get a wide angle view pictures of our trip. This works most of the time especially if I have taken a good shot of everything, sometimes it won't work if I am in a hurry.
It was harvest time when we went there. I somehow miss the feeling of being able to get up early and get a glimpse of the sun in my face. Today, due to the pandemic and having a baby, I couldn't just go out, I have to consider my baby.
My brothers were with us during our visit. They too tried their own poses with the great view of the terraces and the sunrise. There were only a few locals here, the early morning was very quiet! We love the view and I hope to be able to visit here again soon this year.

Hi @junebride,
Great to see you using the #travelfeed tag! We launched the #travelfeed curated tag more than 3 years ago and have been supporting the best travel blogs on Hive ever since. But did you know that TravelFeed has evolved? Based on the feedback of thousands of Hive travel bloggers we created TravelFeed.io.
TravelFeed.io brings together all the benefits of Hive decentralized blogging with features that you as a travel blogger will love: Photo galleries, Instagram embeds, custom maps, automated adding to Pinmapple and more. We also offer many of the features you love on Peakd such as drafts and post scheduling. And if you want, you can even use our easy site builder to set up your own travel blog on your own domain which can be a great way to generate a passive income from your blog!
Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.
We would love to see you on TravelFeed.io soon :)
