Hello Hivers

A few pics from South Africa featuring the magnificent coastline of the Indian Ocean.

Cape rock hyrax, or Dassie are found all along the coast, they prefer the rocky terrain. We saw a baby one get snatched by a hawk, they seem to spend a lot of time out in the open.

These boats are used in the sardine run, you might notice the large black tube like device suspended in the air, that is to syphon up the sardines.

Many great spots for a swim, to get away from the pounding surf, or to spot the myriad of creatures that live in the tidal areas.

Many hours were spent along the shore, and dolphins, seals, whales were seen daily, even a penguin once.

Thank you for checking out my pics from S Africa.
