Is Photoshop dead?

There are so many photo editing apps, both free and paid that a lot of people are using to edit/ manipulate their photos. Even apps like facetune, used to change facial features or other apps that use ai to change images are becoming very popular among social media users who aren't photographers.

Personally, I enjoy the freedom and tools that Photoshop offers, and im also very familiar with how to use them. Switching between lightroom and photoshop meets my needs as a portrait and branding photographer, so I can't imagine replacing it with any other app.

Do you think photoshop is replaceable for what you use it for? Curious to hear your thoughts fellow photogs

Yes I absolutely feel the same way. There is just so much you can do and you can do it multiple ways. The versatility of Photoshop is truly unmatched

I think Photoshop is too oversized for most photographers. (Czech proverb calls it "cannon on sparrows").

I use Luminar Neo (http://skylum.com/luminar ). It is quite fast and efficient.

Oh interesting, I haven't heard of that one and will check it out!
