Wishing You All A Great Diwali🕯

Hey Everyone!!
It's diwali today, a big festival of India and the Hindus. Its a festival of light💡, in which all the peoples lit up their houses with candles🕯 and lights💡, worship the God Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi in night, and celebrate it with full joy and happiness. Its a day when people give sweets to each other and burn cracker, and enjoy playing games.

Why Diwali is celebrated?

One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance". The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity, with many other regional traditions connecting the holiday to Sita and Rama, Vishnu, Krishna, Yama, Yami, Durga, Kali, Hanuman, Ganesha, Kubera, Dhanvantari, or Vishvakarman. Furthermore, it is, in some regions, a celebration of the day Lord Rama returned to his kingdom Ayodhya with his wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana after defeating Ravana in Lanka and serving 14 years of exile.

Beautiful pictures and a proper and concise explanation, in my opinion, of a wonderful celebration. I have a question for you: Are Lakshmi and Luxmi the same?

Congrats for such a nice post and thanks for sharing this!

Yes Luxmi and Lakshmi both are same, the Goddess of Wealth in our Hindu religion.Thank you so much @lafeedekalarka for this kind complement.
